We had an enjoyable afternoon visiting a float city on Tonle Sap Lake. The lake is very unique because it rises and falls nearly 10m between dry and wet seasons. As a result it is simply not possible to have seaside towns that are common place on other large lakes. Instead floating towns, complete with choruses, schools, stores, churches very more dot the large lake. We spent a very relaxing hour at floating restaurant. For more photos click here.
